Willow sat, very bored and alone on the curb. She had nowhere to go, nothing to do. Every once in a while, she'd maybe play with a puddle left from the previous rain. She was still wondering the same thing. Are there others like me? She sighed once more, then stood up, walking down the street.
Aaron laughed with his friends. He played another little guitar bit, then told them he had to get going. He pulled up his hood and started jogging down the street.
(Not the best post, I know, but the darkness hasn't found us yet! Al you have to do is jump in whereever and whenever you like. :P )

Artemis ran outside and kicked off her shoes. She laid down on the grass and all the flowers bloomed. She smiled and rolled over onto her stomach. She made the trees grow a few inches and the grass grow over her head. She smiled again and closed her eyes.
ReplyDeleteApollo rolled his eyes at his sister. She could have fun but he had to restrain himself because everyone said fire was dangerous. He held out his hand anyway and a flame flickered to life in his palm. He narrowed his eyes and a phoenix flew out of the flames. He glanced over to where Artemis was and a patch if grass burst into flame in front of her. "Apollo!" she shrieked.
Willow looked over, seeing a small fire. She blinked, held out her hand, and made the fire go out.

Artemis sighed and made the grass grow back to its original size, neatly trimmed. She stood up and looked Apollo. "Did you put that out?" she asked. He shook his head. Artemis looked around and saw Willow on the curb. She reached into the ground and oulled out her bow and arrows. "Com'on," she said. "Let's go talk to Willow." They headed across the street.
ReplyDeleteWillow realized they were coming to her and took a step back. She wasn't sure if she wanted to talk, but ended up staying and waiting.
ReplyDeleteArtemis cast a glance at her brotheer. He had a mischevious look in his eye, and she made the concrete he was walking on wet. He sank to his shins and she quickly dried it again. "You stay there," she commanded, and continued walking over to Willow. She quickly dropped her bow and arrows and the ground swallowed them, holding them until she needed them again. Artemis walked up to Willow. "Hi," she said. "Can we talk?" she asked.
ReplyDeleteWillow twiddled her finger for a moment."Sure, why?" She looked at Artemis quizzically.
ReplyDeleteArtemis took a deep breath. "Just a minute ago my brother started a fire on our lawn, but he says he didn't put it out. I know he didn't put it out." she bent closer to Willow. "I know who did, though." she let her brother out of the concrete and he walked over to his sister's side.
ReplyDeleteWillow backed away a little bit."First, tell me how the fire started." She said after a minute or two of silence.
ReplyDeleteApollo smirked. "If we told you, you wouldn't belive us." Artemis slugged him in the shoulder. "OUCH!" he exclaimed, rubbing his shoulder. Artemis turned to Willow. "My brother started it."

ReplyDeleteWillow thought for a moment. She closed her eyes, then opened them again, seeing a green aura around Artemis and a red aura around Apollo."You guys are a witch and a wizard, aren't you?" She asked quietly.
Apollo shrugged. "I guess, whatever that means." Artemis rolled her eyes at her brother's ignorance. "You could call us that," she said. "Apollo can control fire, and I can do Earth maagic." To prove her point she plunged her hand into the concrete and pulled out her bow and arrows.

Artemis looked at her. "What do you mean, 'all of them'?"

ReplyDelete"All the types of magic." Willow said, wondering how they were confused."You know, Sky, Fire, Water, Earth, and Animal?"
Apollo shrugged again. "We thought we were the only ones," he said.
ReplyDeleteArtemis glanced at the ground nervously. She pictured herself sinking into the ground, and in the blink of an eye she was gone.
Willow's eyes widened slightly."Wow, really?" She saw Artemis sinking into the ground."Wait!" She sunk down after her, and made a hole for Apollo.
ReplyDeleteArtemis loaded her bow and aimed it at Willow "What?" she asked defensively as she follwed her.
ReplyDeleteApollo leaned into the hole. "You should know she never misses with her bow and that she's very territorial." he leaned out of the hole and started playing with fire.
Willow raised up her hands."I'm not gonna hurt you, It's just I'm excited. I've never known others like me." She said, making her eyes glitter innocently.
ReplyDeleteArtemis lowered her bow slightly. "Yeah, well, me niether." She sighed and looked through the concrete at Apollo. "He shouldn't be doing that!" she hissed. She held up her hand and a small cavern appeared around them. Apollo dropped into it. "What was that for??"he yelled loudly, his figure starting to turn red.
ReplyDeleteWillow suddenly had a feeling she knew what was about to happen. She drew water out of the earth and formed a bubble around herself and Artemis.
ReplyDeleteApollo shut his eyes and Artemis sank deeper into the earth. She grabbed Willow before Apollo lost his temper entirely and covered the hole back up.
ReplyDeleteApollo felt his temperature rising. He just got so mad at his sister sometimes, he just wanted to explode. Suddenley, the cavern was filled with fire so hot it evaporated the water and scorched the dirt.
Willow stayed under the ground, glancing at Artemis."Does this always happen?"
ReplyDeleteShe shook her head. "It's only happened once before."
ReplyDeleteApollo let the flames die down, and fell face first onto the ground. Artemis popped up and picked him up. "I'm taking him back to the house," she said.
Cooper and Ayla were walking through the forest when they heard voices. Curious, Ayla pulled Cooper to the edge and saw three teenagers talking. Cooper turned his gaze towards Ayla, but she wasn't paying any attention to him. She gasped when she saw all three of them disappear into the earth.
ReplyDelete"How did they do that?" She asked and looked at Cooper. Cooper shrugged. "I can do that," He said. But Ayla was already making her way over. Cooper reluctantly followed.
Dawn stormed out of her father's house. "I don't hate you Roseie!"
ReplyDelete"Of course you do! Everyone does!" she stormed into the forest, fire flicking off of her hands.
She heard voices then. "Who's ther?" she growled.

Artemis started to pull Apollo out of the cavern when she felt more people walk towards them. She dove into the cavern and pictured their yard above them. She tossed her brother out and pulled herself out of the ground. She stuck her head back into the ground. "Go! Someone's coming!" she whispered to Willow. Artemis pulled her brother into thier house and lay him on his bed and went back into thier yard and dove into the ground. She stayed below the surface, watching to see who was out there. She slowly turned around and saw a fire user walk out of the trees to the curb where this all began.
ReplyDeleteDawn kept walking. She wasn't paying attention to anyone or anything. She was blind with rage at her father. Everyone hated her. Her mom last week so she left her dad, and then her sister and now her father.
ReplyDeleteShe sat down on the curb. She wanted to set something on fire right now but her caring personality for others got the better of her. She just sat there in an anger fit. She seemed mad enough to kill someone, even though she never would.
Willow nodded, then went to the edge of the forest and popped out of the ground. She saw a fire witch sitting on the curb, her red aura flaring."Fire witch, huh?" She asked, sitting down by her.
ReplyDeleteCooper froze and whispered to Ayla, "There's someone in the earth." Ayla gave him a weird look and spotted someone sitting on the curb, she was curious and she walked over to her, again Cooper reluctantly followed.
ReplyDeleteWillow saw the people approaching her and the girl again. She stood her ground, looking at their aura's.
ReplyDeleteArtemis moved over to the curb where Willow was. She was suddenly standing next to her, her bow notched and ready to fire. She watched the girl walk over, with the boy following. She could tell the boy could use earth magic, she could feel it through the earth.

Willow nodded, glancing at Artemis."I think it's okay. They're like us."
ReplyDeleteArtemis looked at Willow, then back at Cooper and the other girl. She gripped her bow tight, staring at Cooper as he walked over. She straightened up and the ground started to shake slightly. It worsened with each step Cooper took.

ReplyDeleteZephyr flew through the woods on a current of air, gripping his sister Asceline's hand tight. Abruptly, they stopped when Zephyr heard the words "witch" and "wizard" through the winds. "I think there's people like us over there," said Zephyr. "Zephyr, wait, you idiot!" Asceline hissed, but Zephyr had already walked in, followed closely by Asceline. "Hey," he said, though his voice vibrated because there seemed to be an earthquake.

Artemis looked up at Zephyr and Asceline. She gripped her bow so tight her knuckles turned white. "This is a lot for me to handle right now, I'll go before this turns into a full scale earthquake." she said to Willow. She melted into the ground and watched from below the surface.

Artemis looked up from under the ground and gasped in surprise. Apollo was awake, walking out of the house and heading towards Willow. "Who's this, then?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.
ReplyDeleteWillow turned to Apollo. So many people! She thought to herself."This is Zephyr and Asceline. They are the same as us." She looked back to them."I'm Willow, that's Apollo. The one that sank into the ground is Artemis.
ReplyDeleteArtemis' temper flared up when Willow mentioned her, and the ground started to shake again. "Easy, sis," Apollo murmured.
ReplyDelete(I actually don't think it's very fair if there is an earth quake. Only very experienced Witches and wizards can cause them. Plus, the only things that flares up when they're angry are storms with the Sky magic people. Especially Willow, if she's mad there will be a storm. :P)

Willow shook her head, then thought."No, but I could make one." She stood up, thrusting her hand down and creating a downward tunnel for the others. She went in, and with a few movements made a large crystal cavern. She turned to the others, silently hoping Zephyr as impressed.
ReplyDeleteCooper watched Willow. "Wow, I can't even do that!" He said and Ayla rolled her eyes. Cooper, was amazed by everything.

ReplyDeleteArtemis climbed out of the wall with her bow in hand. She looked around and shot an arrow at a fairly large crystal, and it turned into a door. She opened it and walked inside. The floor was grass, her bed a hammock, and a fresh breeze blew her hair around. She kicked off her shoes and started practicing her aim.
ReplyDeleteZephyr crawled in a bit nervously. "That's cool," he said, standing beside Willow. "You're an Earth Witch?"

Asceline closed her eyes and summoned water from the earth's depths. A second later, a small freshwater spring bubbled in one corner of the cave.

Ayla followed everyone warily, Cooper follwing right behind her. She watched Aseline. She looked around nervously and looked at Cooper. "I don't belong here!" She whispered.
ReplyDeleteWillow shook her head."No, I can control all of them, which I don't understand. Are you guys all serious?" She asked them, sill confused. She quickly stomped the ground and a fairly small hole opened up into the wall. She glanced at it with satisfaction. Since nobody here seemed to be able to control the last type of magic, which Willow knew little of, that's how you'd get into hre room.
